One For the Guys

Welcome to our From the Heart Stamps June Blog Hop; our theme this month is "One For the Guys"...hop along for some fabulous inspiration from the DT!

As you hop along, please leave a comment on each entry.  One random commentor will be selected on each blog to win the image used by the designer.  In addition, one commentor on the
From the Heart Stamps blog will win a $5 gift voucher to the store.

If you have arrived from our Guest Designer Kelly's blog, you are in the right place.  If not, you may want to start at the From the Heart Stamps blog so that you don't miss anything.

Here is my project, using Lighthouse:

Image: From the Heart Stamps "Lighthouse" Digital ImageInk: Printer
Paper: G.P. 110, SU! Sahara Sand and Ruby Red, Coordinations CS, The Paper Studio Patterned Paper
Embellies: Spare Parts Brads, Martha Stewart Carrera Marble Glitter, Cheesecloth
Extras: Prismas/Crayolas/Goo Gone, Foam Tape

The image is colored with pencils and I've added just a touch of white glitter to the "sea foam" on the shoreline.  The card base is neutral except for the pop of red; for embellishing I've added some red brads and cheesecloth.

Now head on over to Calypso's blog to see her fabulous creation!

Thanks for hopping with us today; the hop will end on Monday, June 9th at 6:00 a.m. EST.  Winners will be posted, on the From the Heart Stamps blog, on Wednesday, June 11th.

The cheese cloth was a brilliant idea, love that. Amazed at the coloring you did with the pencils, very rich looking. Also like the red stripped paper behind the image, it sets the card off.
